WOOD EARRINGS

How do I care for my wood earrings?

We recommend storing the earrings in an airtight container, such as a ziplock bag, or in a lined jewelry box to prevent tarnishing. Our earrings are lacquered to protect the wood, however, keep them away from water to prevent damage.

 

Why are my earring hooks looking tarnished?

Our earring hooks are sterling silver plated for ear sensitivities. Over time, any sterling silver jewelry exposed to air will tarnish. Silver tarnishes faster in areas with high humidity and air pollution. Chemicals like hairspray, perfume, deodorant, body lotion, bleach, etc., can speed up the tarnishing process. TO CLEAN your jewelry using a small amount of SILVER jewelry cleaner on a soft cloth, gently rub the silver several times. Then wipe with a warm water soaked cloth (being careful to not get wood wet). This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new. 

 

Why aren't my earrings exactly the same?

 As with all wood products, there may be slight variations in the grain and color of your earrings. We do our best to keep this to a minimum. If you are unsatisfied we would be happy to exchange them for another pair.

 

SHIPPING

How long before I receive my earrings?

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. After an order is processed, shipping time is 3-5 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email. Shipping will arrive USPS. 

 

What are my shipping rates?

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Shipping is free on earrings of any quantity.



RETURNS

How do I make a return?

Our return policy is 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within seven business days. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.


EXCHANGES

How do I make an exchange?

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at groundedgoodsdesign@gmail.com and send your item to: 7915 Blackwood Dr., Windsor CO 80550, United States.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
